After spending years dealing with Chronic Active Epstein Barr Virus, Monica is thrilled to be back on the mat and is ready to rebuild her practice and continue sharing the joy of yoga. She strives to makes each individual feel welcome and safe to be wherever they are in THEIR yoga practice.

I got my 200 hr(RYT) certified yoga teacher in 2019. After I went to my first yoga class I enjoyed it so much I incorporated it into my lifestyle. I love the benefits of yoga, and became a teacher to help others in their journey. I love that yoga pushes you to your edge to challenge yourself, while accepting the process of growth. Looking forward to seeing you on the mat.

Her approach to teaching yoga is based on the understanding that everyone can benefit from yoga practice; every person’s body is unique and cannot be forced but coaxed to open. This approach is referred to as Functional yoga. Emphasis is encouraging focus on the breath and making sure each posture causes no pain but instead helps the practitioner explore his/her own limits. Her focus is always on the safety of her students.
